Here are the reviews of Fasthosts Services on DooYoo. Same story. Is Fasthosts' corporate anthem in any way similar to Millward's?

Total waste of money. Very attractive website, seemingly very good deals, but beware! 1) The description of the Home Users account makes untrue and unwarranted claims, such as "Many advanced services included at no extra cost", "No hidden charges", and "Flat Monthly fee +VAT". Delays in email routing, occasional POP3 unavailability, poor control panel access and speed. Half an hour in telephone queue to close the account, (can't do it online). Watch the RSS feed of their system status reports at http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/rss/Status.rss for an idea of how much service interruption they suffer.

A simple statement, DO NOT USE FASTHOSTS Fair enough, at the end of the day we have all come to expect poor customer service, hidden costs, long call queue systems and unhelpful staff, but I say vote with your feet and go elsewhere. Fasthosts.co.uk: Fasthosts Poor Customer Service (308 words)

I have been using Fasthosts for a year now. I was warned before hand that they weren't the cheapest and certainly weren't the greatest for customer service and now I can honestly say I wish I hadn't have bothered. My problems all started with the great password debacle, which I shouldn't really blame all on Fasthosts, it was one of ... Read the complete review

I feel so frustrated and angry. Fasthosts managed to help themselves twice on my credit card to my annual payment for my website space + £23 because they claimed I had paid late. I would like to add my feelings of frustration and disgust to the thousands of messages currently doing the rounds on web forums re: Fasthosts customer care service. Avoid like the plague!
I'm a computer consultant and have been unravelling the incompetence caused by these clowns. Very time consuming, frustrating and thus expensive for all involved, which far outweighs any saving you may make in the initial cost of the domain. My advice, pay a little bit more for the domain and services from a smaller outfit and you should get a superior level of customer service.

Hidden charges will apply when you least expect them!
I was charge £20 + VAT for having my credit card stolen and not updating my payment details within 7 days. Remember a lot changes in a year.
